Billy Strings & Dan Tyminski Team Up For Impressive Rendition “Where The Soul Of Man Never Dies”

Dan Tyminski country music

If you’re looking to wind down to some good ol’ bluegrass music, boy do I have the song for you.

Bluegrass legend Dan Tyminski dropped a new EP titled One More Time Before You Go, a complete tribute EP to the late, great Tony Rice, who passed away back in 2020.

In an effort to celebrate Rice’s life through his songs, Tyminski brought along other bluegrass greats like Jerry Douglas, Todd Phillips, Sam Bush, Josh Williams, Dailey & Vincent, Gaven Largent, Molly Tuttle, and of course, Billy Strings.

With that being said, Tyminski and Strings teamed up for a beautiful rendition of “Where The Soul Of Man Never Dies,” which Rice recorded with Ricky Skaggs in 1980.

When it comes to the current state of bluegrass music, it’s hard to find two guys who are as musically gifted as Tyminski and Strings, and their vocals combine for perfect harmonies as they sing about approaching the glorious gates of Heaven.

“To Canaan’s land, I’m on my way
Where the soul of man never dies
My darkest night will turn to day
Where the soul of man never dies…”

Needless to say, the two would’ve made ol’ Tony proud with this one.
