We all remember back to the summer of 2020, when a rising young country star named Morgan Wallen was having a grand ol’ time tearing up the town and got a little too rowdy at this little watering hole named Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse.
Needless to say, he found himself in the back of police car…
I mean, who hasn’t been shit-faced on Broadway?
Anyways, the mugshot was GOLD.
And true story… we immediately asked Morgan if we could put this on a t-shirt, sell them in the Whiskey Riff Shop and donate a percent of the proceeds to charity. It’s not hard to see why the label thought that might not be the best idea…
Although, a number of mugshot shirts and other items popped up on the internet anyways, and apparently a New Hampshire man named Zachary Horne happened to snag one.
And… wait for it… HE GOT ARRESTED WEARING IT.
According to the Smoking Gun, 20-year-old Horne was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and booked into the Belknap County jail in Laconia, New Hampshire.
Morgan himself shared the mugshot on Instagram saying:
“We’ve all been there bub… wish I saw this sooner, I woulda bailed him out.”
Incredible… I mean, it’s almost too good to even believe it’s real.
