Midland Is Taking Their Beer-Soaked Honky Tonk Heartbreaker “Longneck Way To Go” To Country Radio As Their Next Single

Jon Pardi Midland country music

Midland is officially taking this beer-soaked honky tonk heater to country radio.

The group dropped “Longneck Way To Go” with Jon Pardi back in April, a classic heartbreaker about drowning your sorrows and closing down the bar with several ice cold beers in-hand.

Written by Midland’s Cameron Duddy, Jess Carson and Mark Wystrach along with Ashley Gorley and Rhett Akins, it’s a FUN time and a fantastic choice for their next single.

It will impact country radio next month on July 18th:

“New @MidlandOfficial single is “Longneck Way to Go”, feat. @JonPardi. Impacts country radio on July 18th.”

A track off their recent record, The Last Resort: Greetings From, the music video finds them all slinging longnecks at the bowling alley and living their best life.

And it looked like a helluva time, too, though Jon told us on a recent episode of the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast that his band doesn’t exactly remember filming it…

With summer in full swing and the fun, upbeat production of this song that comes through so authentically, I think it will do really well at country radio…

Or, at least, it should:
