Larry Fleets Drops Unreleased “Having A Girl” Ahead Of Father’s Day

Where my girl dads at?

As the father of a nine month old little girl (my first), I can tell you that nothing prepares you for having a baby. You can read all the books, you can take the advice of your buddies, but until you hold that child in your arms, you have no idea.

With Father’s Day around the corner, Larry Fleet (one of the brightest rising stars in the business right now), released a performance of a song called “Having A Girl.”

An unreleased song from Larry, he used a demo version to announce that he and his wife were expecting their little girl, Stella.

“Being a dad is the best thing I’ve ever done. You never feel fully prepared when you find out you’re having a baby, so when I found out we were having Stella, I was so happy and excited.

I also knew nothing about being the dad of a little girl. Pretty quickly after she came into the world, she changed my heart and made me a better man, husband, and father, just like my son Waylon had done a couple years earlier.

I’m honored to be their dad, and I hope this song resonates with all the dads out there.”

Performed live from the Welcome To 1979 recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee, my fellow girl dads are gonna like this one.
