Jon Snow Is BACK: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Sequel Starring Kit Harrington Is Officially In The Works

Jon Snow Game Of Thrones
HBO

LET’S GO.

With the upcoming prequel, House Of The Dragon coming out this summer, Game Of Thrones fans have a lot to be excited about. The HBO series is highly regarded as one of the greatest shows of all time (ignore that final season), and after three years of nothing… the story continues.

However, as interesting as the prequel series about the Targaryen family sounds, The Hollywood Reporter just dropped a bomb on us.

Kit Harrington will be reprising his role as Jon Snow in an upcoming Game Of Thrones sequel series.

The spin off will be centered around Jon Snow’s story following the events of the original show:

“In Thrones’ eighth-and-final season, Jon Snow discovered his true name was Aegon Targaryen, a potential heir to the Iron Throne.

In the series finale, he was exiled from Westeros and journeyed North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his old life behind.”

So what does that mean for the sequel?

Not a clue… all we know is the sequel has been ordered by HBO, the two-time Emmy nominee, Kit Harrington, is back, and it’s gonna be awesome.

Similar to the way Star Wars and Disney+ are cranking out shows, as well as the Taylor Sheridan universe of Yellowstone, HBO is riding the wave with a total of seven GOT projects in the works including, 10,000 Ships (a.k.a. Nymeria), 9 Voyages (a.k.a. The Sea Snake), and Dunk and Egg.
