Dafuq?
If I needed help identifying a strange animal the first place I would think to call would be the zoo. But apparently this one has even the experts stumped.
The Amarillo Zoo is asking the public for help identifying a strange creature that was caught on camera at the zoo in the early morning hours of May 21.
The animal (or human, or sasquatch, or alien, or whatever the hell it is) was seen outside the zoo’s gates, and it looks like some kind of fox or cat or something walking upright?
Hell if I know.
The city of Amarillo says in a press release:
“Was it a person with a strange hat who likes to walk at night? A large coyote on its hind legs? A Chupacabra? It is a mystery – for Amarillo to help solve.
For now, the strange visitor is a UAO – Unidentified Amarillo Object. However, perhaps Amarillo has a better explanation.
In the spirit of fun if not curiosity, the City of Amarillo is letting the public offer ideas on the identity of the UAO.”
In all likelihood it’s probably just some weirdo wearing a mask or costume or some sort. But of course the internet has its own theories:

You people don't know a Chupacabra when you see one?

On second thoughts it could be a raccoon climbing the fence with other objects/materials on or near the fence, creating the illusion that it's bigger than it is. Regardless, it isnt a cryptid and the video would prove it. pic.twitter.com/fmHoZGPsJp
