Pat Green has done it again.
The legendary Texas country music artist released “Steady” today, his fourth single of 2022 from his upcoming album Miles and Miles of You.
A love song dedicated to his wife Kori, Green took to Instagram to announce the song’s release this morning. In a brief comment, he wrote
“‘When everything I know crumbles all around me, she’s steady’
This one is about the best thing in my life. My rock. Kori. Hope you dig it!”
The San Antonio native released his first album, the iconic Dancehall Dreamer record, in 1995 and hasn’t looked back. Since then, Green has 9 studio albums, 2 live albums, 2 cover albums, several singles, and there has even been a tribute album, Dancehall Dreamin’ released in his honor back in 2018.
One of the most influential Texas artists of the past 30 years, Green was one of the most prominent and well known artists in the Texas music Scene in the late ‘90s and throughout the 2000s, and his influence on the scene is still massive today.
As he has proved with each single this year, and especially with today’s “Steady,” Green is still one of the best business. And it’ll be that way for quite some time.
