Kenny Chesney Breaks Nissan Stadium Concert Attendance Record

Kenny Chesney officially holds the record for largest concert crowd at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

He originally set the record in 2018, after breaking One Direction’s 2014 record, however that record was quickly bested by Taylor Swift, and then again by Eric Church in 2019.

Garth Brooks played for over 70,000 across two nights, but it’s unclear what the one-night total is.

So as of right now, with a total of 57,211 asses in the seats, Kenny Chesney’s Here & Now Tour is claiming the top spot.

He also brought out Kelsea Ballerini for their duet, “Half Of My Hometown”:

“I grew up in East Tennessee and she grew up in East Tennessee. We drove down some of the same roads together. We went to a lot of the same places to eat with our families.

We listened to the same radio station, and listened to a lot of people tell us we couldn’t do certain things that have dreamed of all our life…”

Kelsea broke down into tears halfway through the song:

“Being here in Nashville where so many dreams came true, seeing Kelsea on the verge of making the same kind of mark, it made me realize how strong this connection is. It’s not just fun or hooks or guitar riffs, it’s one massive heart that we all share.

To have that is the greatest gift, greatest reason for doing this, and tonight really hit me in the soul.”

The Here & Now Tour continues on next week in Texas with shows at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and AT&T Stadium.
