If you’re anything like me and my friends, then you probably have a running list of top-secret baby names in your phone notes that you fully intend on using one day.

Of course, there’s a list for boys and a list for girls, and a couple good middle name options for good measure. And you’d be surprised at just how creative you can really get with a name.

Where I’m from in North Carolina, we tend to prefer family names and the occasional double name (think along the lines of “Allie Kate” or “Anna Grace”), but I’ve heard some pretty wild ones that are completely made up, too.
