Matthew McConaughey Reveals The One Word He Wants Wiped From The Dictionary Completely

Perhaps one of the reasons why people consider Matthew McConaughey the most beloved actor on the planet, is his willingness to share his wisdom that’s helped him grow throughout his life.

For example, he released his Greenlights memoir a couple of years back, and it’s full of life lessons and personal experiences that he’s learned from over the years.

On top of that, he continues to share these lessons via social media, and YouTube, and yesterday, he shared his least favorite word…

And it’s “unbelievable.”

In only a minute, he describes why “unbelievable” should be wiped from the dictionary, pointing to the reality of tragedy, failure, triumph, people, and events, and how we should use the reality of those situations and feelings to help us grow.

He said:

“We shouldn’t think that the most beautiful sunset, or the greatest play, or the greatest love of our life, or the greatest moment of euphoria is unbelievable, believe it! It’s happening right in front of you, in you.

And we shouldn’t feel like the greatest tragedy, or death, or earthquake, or natural disaster or loss are unbelievable, it’s part of life too! Believe it! We see it happen everyday.

So, unbelievable. I don’t buy it.”
