Zoo Visitors Watch In Horror As Group Of Bears Brutally Attack A Pack Of Wolves

This doesn’t look like your average trip to the zoo…

Before we even get started, I have to put out the warning: This is one of the more brutal animal attack videos I’ve ever seen. If that’s not your thing, you might just want to scroll on down to the next article.

Anyways, moving on…

Imagine going to your local zoo, looking in one of the exhibits, and there’s a full blown gang war going on between the animals.

I mean, there’s a reason you don’t put several apex predators in the same cage, right?

However, that was exactly the case for a group of zoo patrons back in 2018… and it was absolutely terrifying.

A pack of wolves were just hanging out at their home in Dierenrijk, a zoo in the Dutch town of Mierlo. But out of nowhere, a group of bears went into full blown attack mode, and working together as one unit, mauled a poor female wolf.

The other two wolves did their best to fight off the bears and perhaps save their friend. But they didn’t really have a chance against this ferocious pack of bears, and their friend was torn to pieces.

Zookeepers noted that they have no idea why the bears attacked the wolf, however they also added that the animals are put together to encourage them to play together.

And while you’d think that it would be a recipe for disaster, zoo officials say this is the first time it has happened.

The visitor who captured the stunning footage recalled the nightmarish trip:

“I did not notice what was happening until I started filming. Fifteen minutes before we had been looking at the bears and took a nice picture of one sitting on the bench right in front of the window.

Then we saw the wolves running wildly towards the water. The bears were already in there with one of the wolves. At first we thought they were playing until we saw the wolf’s head. Then we took our baby away.

There were several children who were screaming. After about four or five minutes the caretakers came and told us that they were trying to lure away the bears.

Then we left because the wolf was just in front of the window with his guts out.”

Sheesh, talk about graphic.

Hopefully this experience doesn’t scar the children for the rest of their lives.

You have to respect the loyalty of the wolves though… they see a member of the pack in trouble, getting torn limb from limb by this savage group bears, and they go running towards the face of danger.

And how about the bears?

You don’t see bears in the wild work together like that… just imagine how terrifying bears would be if they roamed in packs like wolves.

Big, strong, fast, killing machines that work together like wolves do… I shudder to think about that.
