Honoring the great Naomi Judd.

On April 30th, at 76 years old, country music icon Naomi Judd tragically died by suicide, just a day before her formal induction into the the Country Music Hall of Fame.

CMT will be broadcasting Naomi’s live public memorial this Sunday at 5pm, and has confirmed that close family friend Robin Roberts will host the show that’s taking place at the Mother Church of Country Music in the Ryman Auditorium.

Some of Naomi’s fellow country music singers will be there to perform, including Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Carly Pearce, Emmylou Harris & Allison Russell, Little Big Town and Martina McBride, as well as other musicians like Bono and The Gaithers.

Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey and Salma Hayek will be there to speak, and Ashley and Wynonna Judd will also be in attendance, along with Naomi’s husband of 35 years and ‘Pop’ to the girls, Larry Strickland.

However, more special guests have been added to the lineup as well, including Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce (who will now be performing as well), Jamey Johnson, Reba, Bette Midler, and Reese Witherspoon.

“This Sunday, we’re honoring a country music icon.
