Watch Cody Johnson Sing The Hell Out Of “Dear Rodeo” At Stagecoach

Needless to say, Stagecoach was one rowdy time this year, after getting cancelled the past two years due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans were foaming at the mouth for a chance to see all of their favorite country artists perform on the big stage in Indio, California, especially after so many were stuck indoors over the past two years (and especially, especially the folks in southern California).

This year’s festival featured a lineup full of the best performers in the country music industry today, like Luke Combs, Midland, Charley Crockett, Brothers Osborne, Cody Jinks, Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry, and more.

And of course, arguably one of the best mainstream country music performers today, Cody Johnson.

The former bull rider turned country music star posted a video of his Stagecoach performance of “Dear Rodeo,” a fan favorite at all of his shows, and he typically rounds out every show with the song.

As he sings about putting his full-throttle bull ridin’ lifestyle behind him for country music, it’s easy to see that the song is a very emotional one for him.
