Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum gave John Stamos a wedding to remember, as the 61-year-old drummer recalled the wild instances that went down when the Full House actor married his first wife Rebecca Romijn in his new memoir “Double Talkin’ Jive.”
According to Page Six, the drummer said he was attending the wedding with his girlfriend at the time.
Afterward, Dave Coulier, AKA Uncle Joey from Full House, invited them to an after-party at his place.
“We started doing shots in Dave’s kitchen almost as soon as we arrived. After that, we moved on to cocktails.
By that point, I noticed that I couldn’t find my girlfriend, so I started looking for her.”
Sorum said he later found her naked in a Jacuzzi with three random dudes.
Then, shit started to hit the fan:
“I grab a flowerpot and throw it toward the pool, hurling a chair in the same direction, a second or two later. The host of the party (Coulier) comes over and tries to calm me down, but it’s like my entire being has been reduced to a mix of anger and despair.
The guy doesn’t even have time to put his hand on my shoulder before I’ve knocked him out.”
Sorum’s was pretty trashed so some of details are still pretty fuzzy, but he says he then got thrown out into the street… where he realized he was naked too:
“I alternate between sweating and freezing, and at some point, it dawns on me that I’m naked.”
He was able to call a cab to pick him up and take him to his girlfriend’s house, where he scaled the fence, got into the house, and dressed himself before paying the cab driver.
His girlfriend eventually returned home:
“Somewhere in the distance, I can hear her shouting.”
He then said he woke up to two cops standing around him with guns pointed at his face, and that was the end of that.
However, the 61-year-old has chilled out quite a bit since knocking out ol’ Dave, as he married fashion designer Ace Harper back in 2013, and they welcomed their daughter Lou Ellington last year.
