Watch Matthew McConaughey Sing With Kenny Chesney At The Mack, Jack & McConaughey Charity Gala

Mcconaughey Kenny Chesney country music

Matthew McConaughey can do it all.

We’re talking about acting, comedy, storytelling, stripping, motivational speaking, and hell, he could probably be the Governor of Texas if he wanted to be.

And on top of that, he can add country music singer to the list of talents. The guy bangs a mean bongo too…

Kenny Chesney was playing a show last Thursday for the 10th annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey Charity Gala at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas.

The charity gala is hosted by former Texas football coaching legend Mack Brown, country singer/songwriter Jack Ingram, and also McConaughey, in an effort to raise money for charities dedicated to helping children’s education, health, and wellness.

When the country singer began to sing “When The Sun Goes Down,” McConaughey decided to walk on up, share a seat with Chesney, and began to sing into the mic with him.

Rockin’ the all white suit and looking cool, calm, and collected as usual, Mr. Alright Alright Alright himself also joined Chesney to sing “Setting The World On Fire,” and “American Kids,” and even started to play the bongos in the background.

“Since the 2-day event launched in 2013, the nonprofit has given over $20 million dollars to charitable organizations.

Funds raised through MJ&M 2022 will support CureDuchenne, Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, just keep livin Foundation and The Rise School of Austin.

Mack, Jack and Matthew are especially committed to maximizing the return to the community, specifically benefiting these organizations dedicated to children’s education, health and wellness.”
