Vince Gill is heading to The Ryman for a very special occasion.

He just announced a four-night residency at the Mother Church of Country Music as part of a celebration for the venue’s 130 year legacy.

Joined by Wendy Wooten to open the show, it will be Vince’s first solo performance at the storied venue since two back-to-back shows in 2007:

Vince took the stage at The Ryman for the very first time over 30 years ago, and it’s always been his favorite place to play, so needless to say, he’s pumped for this new residency:

“Of all the great concert halls in America and throughout the world, the Ryman is by far my favorite. I knew it was a unique venue the first time I set foot on the stage over 30 years ago.

It was just me and an acoustic guitar and to this day that moment was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”

The residency will run this summer on August 4th through the 7th. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, May 6th.
