More new music on the way from Morgan Wallen.

Just a couple of weeks ago, right before Easter, Morgan dropped the deeply personal “Don’t Think Jesus,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart and has quickly become a fan-favorite.

And now he’s dropping a song for Mother’s Day too.

Morgan announced on TikTok that he would be releasing “Thought You Should Know,” another personal song that he wrote for his mom, Lesli.

Thank you Mama. Dropping this song for you on Mothers Day weekend.

Dropping next Friday, May 6, just in time for Mother’s Day, Morgan previewed the song last year on Instagram, and fans have been begging him to release it ever since:

And after posting the acoustic version, Miranda Lambert revealed that she co-wrote the song with Morgan, along with Nashville hitmaker Nicolle Galyon, commenting on the video:

“Thanks for letting me and @nicatnitemusic write this special song with you. Sounds great.”

Looks like Morgan’s about to have another big ol’ hit on his hands – and for this one, he can thank his momma.
