Talladega baby…

Ross Chastain took the checkered flag in a wild NASCAR Cup Series finish this weekend after second place Kyle Larson pulled out of line to try to pass Erik Jones.

Larson took a hard right into Kurt Busch, sending Busch into the wall, Bubba Wallace HARD into the wall, and allowing third place Chastain to hold it on the bottom for his second win this season.

Since then, all eyes in the NASCAR world have been on Denny Hamlin, who posted a Family Guy meme of an Asian woman driving after the race at Talladega on Sunday.

The meme was directed at fellow driver Kyle Larson (who’s part Japanese), after he caused a wreck during the final lap of the Geico 500. He’ll be forced to undergo sensitivity training as a result.

However, one of the drivers who got caught up amongst the pile up was Bubba Wallace, a driver who won the Cup Series race at Talladega last October, and needless to say, he wasn’t too pleased with Larson after the incident.

Bubba was looking for a huge point haul during the race, but his last lap wreck with Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron and teammate Kurt Busch washed away those hopes.

After the crash, you can hear Wallace telling his spotter Freddie Kraft on the radio:

“I don’t know if I can take anymore f*cking hits like that.”

Bubba looked like he was hurting after the wreck, but thankfully, he just had the wind knocked out of him:

“Well, this weekend was fun…until it wasn’t. Had a big ol’ grin coming to the flag, and then ‘Dega happened.

Knocked the wind out of me but I’m all good!”
