I guess Tyler Childers isn’t taking the WHOLE rest of the year off.
His wife, Senora May, announced over the weekend that they’re expecting their first child sometime this year.
And while both parents-to-be do plan to take a lot of time off from touring and playing shows once their new baby arrives, Tyler just announced two new shows set for September 28th and 29th at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
Noga Erez will open both shows, while Luna & the Mountain Jets will open night one and Joslyn & the Sweet Compression will open night two. If you live close enough or are looking to take a trip to Colorado this year, it will surely be a show you won’t want to miss.
Of course, Tyler has played the venue quite a few times, and even live streamed a couple of the concerts he played their last year.
So hopefully, for those of us that can’t make the trip out west, he might do the same on this go around.
Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday.
