LeAnn Rimes And Carly Pearce Stun With Duet Of “Probably Wouldn’t Be This Way”

This is one of the best CMT Crossroads episodes I’ve seen in a long time.

LeAnn Rimes was recently joined by Mickey Guyton, Brandy Clark, Ashley McBryde and Carly Pearce for her episode, which was filmed as part of a celebration for the 25th anniversary of LeAnn’s iconic 1996 debut studio album Blue.

That record was released when she was just 13 years old, if you can believe it, and featured her only #1 hit to date, “One Way Ticket,” that she also sang with Ashley and Carly on this special.

Every single performance was stellar, including the duet between LeAnn and Carly on “Probably Wouldn’t Be This Way.” Not many people in country music can belt it out quite like these two.

Written by John Kennedy and Tammi Kidd, the song was the second single from LeAnn’s 2005 album This Woman, and peaked at #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

They put on a stunning performance, to say the least:

Ashley and LeAnn also teamed up for a rousing performance of “Nothing Better To Do”:
