If You’re Missing Yellowstone, ‘Outer Range’ Starring Josh Brolin Might Be The Answer

You gotta love a good western.

There’s really nothing better than movies that take you back to the wild west like TombstoneWyatt Earp, and True Grit, along with the modern westerns like Yellowstone, Wind River, No Country For Old Men, or Hell or High Water.

With that being said, we can add yet another western to the watch list, as Prime Video is unveiling Outer Range, starring Josh Brolin.

The series kicks off this Friday with two episodes, and will premier two episodes each Friday from here on out.

The story is based around Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) and his family, who are trying to figure out what happened to their daughter-in-law Rebecca.

On top of that, they’re dealing with some neighbors, the Tillersons, who are attempting to take their land.

The two issues cause a chain of events throughout their small town, and all hell breaks loose.

The rest of the cast features Imogen Poots (I Know This Much Is True), Lili Taylor (Perry Mason), Tamara Podemski (Four Sheets to the Wind), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick), Tom Pelphrey (Ozark), Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Shaun Sipos (Krypton), Isabel Arraiza (The Little Things), Olive Abercrombie (The Haunting of Hill House), and Will Patton (Yellowstone). Outer Range comes from creator and executive producer Brian Watkins.

It’s Yellowstone meets Ozark meets Stranger Things and it might just quench that Yellowstone thirst until Season 5 shows up.
