Not gonna lie, I’m stoked for these new professional football leagues, like the XFL and USFL.
I mean c’mon, we’re talking about more football on TV here… ya can’t beat it with a stick.
With that being said, with new ownership from Dany Garcia and Dwayne The Rock Johnson, the XFL plans to re-launch in 2023, after WWE chairman Vince McMahon’s failed attempt in 2020.
However, the league is making its return and changing its image a bit, and things are officially a go.
We couldn't wait for the future, so we built it ourselves. Tomorrow’s league starts today.#XFL2023 pic.twitter.com/ZGFEOe8zcp

According to Pro Football Talk, the XFL has announced the coaches for all eight teams for next year.
The list includes Wade Phillips, Bob Stoops, Terrell Buckley, Hines Ward, Rod Woodson, Reggie Barlow, Anthony Becht, and Jim Haslett.
This morning, XFL co-owners @DanyGarciaCo and @TheRock officially announced our eight head coaches for the 2023 season. Please join us in welcoming them all to the #XFL2023!

That’s a pretty stellar list, considering Stoops is a famed college football coach from Oklahoma, Phillips is a former head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Hines Ward and Rod Woodson are NFL legends, although neither have been head coaches before.
Needless to say, we’re gonna see some big names on the sidelines.
