Topo Chico Unveils Brand New Margarita Hard Seltzer

Topo Chico

In the midst of the hard seltzer craze, we received the news that Topo Chico would be jumping on board, as the popular mineral water dropped their own line of hard seltzers in March of last year.

For a guy who isn’t a big seltzer fan, Topo Chico caught my attention with a signature taste that stands out from the rest of your basic hard seltzers like White Claw, Truly, etc…

With that being said, almost exactly a year later, the brand is upping their game another notch, as they’ve announced their very own Margarita Hard Seltzer.

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Topo Chico Margarita Hard Seltzer includes flavors like Signature Margarita, Tropical Pineapple, Strawberry Hibiscus, and Prickly Pear.

They come in a 12 drink variety pack, with 100 calories each and a 4.5% ABV per serving.

Matt Escalante, vice president of hard seltzers at Molson Coors Beverage Co., expressed his excitement for the new release:

“Everyone loves a good margarita– it’s the No. 1 cocktail on-premise for a reason and a neutral fit for a brand like Topo Chico Hard Seltzer.

So we took what drinkers look for in a margarita– everything from the salty rim to the exotic fruit flavors and citrusy finish– and put it into an easy drinking hard seltzer.”

To be honest, the Truly Margarita line is pretty good so I’m confident that Topo will be even better.

Getcha some.
