This one wins.

Julian Edelman took his Tom Brady trolling to the next level today, posting a very believable graphic on Twitter saying he’d come out of retirement to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in order to play wide receiver with his old quarterback:

“Onto the next chapter.”

But if you look closely at the bottom right hand corner, there’s a disclaimer that reads “April fools”.

Of course, Tom and Julian were a powerhouse duo for 12 seasons in Foxborough, where Julian spent his entire 12-year NFL career with Tom, and they won three Super Bowl’s together.

Julian announced his NFL retirement last April, after being released from the team due to a failed physical. He later joined the cast of Showtime’s Inside the NFL.

Ever since, Tom and others have joked about Julian rejoining him in Tampa Bay, but Julian has shot the idea down more than once, saying that his time playing professional football is over. This time, he took the opportunity to troll the shit out of Bucs fans everywhere, and it’s one of the best April fools jokes I’ve seen all day.

And a few days prior to this, the former New England Patriot got in on the Will Smith-Chris Rock slap meme action with a brilliant one aimed at trolling Tom and his recent 40-day retirement:

As is evidenced with Tom’s brief retirement, I’m not so sure the possibility of Julian joining the Bucs is still totally out of the question, even with this April fools joke… they were “getting in some cardio” together just last week.

He could possibly just be the troll all of all internet trolls, and I would not be shocked at all to see him in a Bucs uniform this fall:
