That was a cold one…
Eric Church fans were PISSED this week when Chief announced he was canceling his show this Saturday in San Antonio so that he could watch his beloved UNC Tar Heels take on Duke in the Final Four.
Everybody and their mother has chimed in with their opinion (you can read mine here). But Bud Light knows that sometimes when shit happens, all people really wanna do is put a drink in their hand.
So for Eric Church fans who are going to be spending the weekend in San Antonio watching the Final Four at the bar instead of going to the concert, Bud Light is offering some free beer to take away the pain of having to miss the show.
Starting at 8 PM on Saturday (which also happens to be the time Church was scheduled to take the stage), select bars along San Antonio’s River Walk will be hanging out the free cold ones.
Participating bars include Elsewhere, Coyote Ugly, Madd Dogs British Pub, Michelinos, Smoke – River Walk and Thirsty Aztec.
So wether you’re from San Antonio and disappointed that your Saturday night plans were abruptly canceled, or if you’re going to be there this weekend because you couldn’t change your travel plans, at least you can get some free beer out of it.
And we all know Eric Church loves a good cold beer (and mustard on his fries, but that’s a discussion for a different day).
