VIDEO: Fisherman Finds Live Blue Gill Inside Northern Pike’s Stomach

Viral Hog

Predatory animals are always amazing.

Whether we’re talking wolves, mountain lions, or bears… it seems like so many cool experiences and stories come from them.

Northern Pike are no different. Although, since they live underwater… it’s much harder to witness.

This video starts with some fisherman that caught a decent Northern Pike and shared in on HF-Outdoors. The man in the video grabs onto something in the stomach the clearly still has the form it was before it was eaten.

“Alright, check this weird obstacle out in the Northern Pike belly here. Kinda hard.

We have an idea of what we think it is”

As he moves the object around, it seems so solid and square. Your first thoughts go to some type of garbage it must have picked up. The man starts to cut it open and debates what it is.

“I think it’s a frisbee”

Your guess is as good as mine. I have no clue…

The fisherman cutting it open seems to think it’s a turtle. Whatever it is almost seems to be moving as it is being cut out.

All at once a blue gill slides out of the Pikes guts.

“Ohhh, look at the size of this Blue Gill. We were wrong”

That is impressive that that large fish came out. Then it gets crazier….

The fish comes back to life flopping around, as every fisherman on the boat says the same thing at the same time:

“It’s alive!”

Followed up by hysterical laughing.

“Oh my gosh, I can’t believe that, I thought it was a turtle”

That’s what this stuff is all about.
