Good Lord, you’re telling me Sheryl from Remember the Titans grew up to be a street fighter?
Actress Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, got in the middle of a massive fight that broke out at the famous Sunset Strip Hotel in Hollywood.
In the video obtained by TMZ, you can see Panettiere and Hickerson outside of the Sunset Marquis last night in the thick of the melee.
At one point, security was able to calm everyone down, but Hickerson broke free and continued to fight.
An eyewitness says that it started at the hotel bar, where an argument broke out between the actress, her boyfriend, and other attendants. One of the people involved claimed that Brian spit on them, and when they were kicked out by management, the brawl started.
According to Fox News, the fight may have started over a comment about a bad tip:
“While in the restaurant of the Sunset Marquis, Brian Hickerson, who happened to be with Hayden, made a comment to an individual about leaving the waitress a poor tip.
That same individual, along with the group he was with, began badgering and shoving Brian at which point security pushed everyone outside. Brian was attacked by the group as was Hayden who in her best effort tried to defuse the situation.
Hayden was refused the opportunity to provide a statement to the police as she was escorted back inside. She is OK.”
In the video, you see Hayden trying to pull Brian off of the others involved, and it looks like she got kicked in the face during her efforts.
You hear her say:
“Brian, jail!”
Which makes sense considering he’s on probation until 2025. He was arrested in 2020 for multiple domestic violence altercations against Panettiere. He was sentenced to 45 days in county jail after he pleaded no contest to two counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend.
Once everyone is separated, Brian and Hayden head back to the hotel, where she reportedly apologized to the staff.
