Luke Combs is arguably the biggest thing in country music right now. Already an Entertainer of the Year winner, #1 single after #1 single, sold out show after sold out show, album sales records, chart records, streaming records… the list goes on.
But before all that was going on, Luke was crushing covers of “Tennessee Whiskey” back home in North Carolina.
Originally written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove, “Tennessee Whiskey” was first recorded by David Allan Coe and George Jones before Chris Stapleton put it back on the map as the mega hit that it is today.
According to the original poster, this was filmed in 2016, before “Hurricane” ever hit country radio, at a private gig in Gastonia, North Carolina.
I mean, just listen to that crowd roar.

Luke Combs Performs “Dive” Featuring Ed Sheeran
Luke Combs brought out one of England’s own during his show across the pond in London on Sunday night.
Of course, Whiskey Riff was the first to break the story, but at the last show of C2C fest, he brought pop superstar Ed Sheeran out on stage to sing Sheeran’s hit, “Dive.”
Luke has a history of covering this song and even recorded it for a Spotify Sessions back in 2018. So if those two every got in the same room together, you know they were gonna have to have a go at it.
“Dive” was written by Ed along with Benny Blanco and Julia Michaels, it was included on his third studio album ÷ (Divide), eventually peaking at #8 on the UK Singles Chart.
Overall, C2C Festival is definitely one to put on the bucket list. Spanning three countries in Europe, taking place in London, Glasgow and Dublin… it’s a once in a lifetime experience for a country music fan.
We also saw Miranda Lambert debut a new song and Kip Moore cover “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.”
All there’s left to do now is get Ed in the studio and drop some vocals for LC3.
