We all know Jeff Foxworthy as the mullet-haired, mustached, country boy comedian from Georgia, notorious for his “You might be a redneck if…” jokes. Or if you’re a bit younger, you’d remember him as the host of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? (you’re not… it’s fine).
Either way, the Blue Collar Comedy Tour comedian’s signature dad humor has found its way into the hearts of blue collar, working class folks around the country.
So naturally, the self-righteous wasteland Twitter would find a way to hate him…
Some think the guy is hilarious, some people just don’t get his humor, but growing up in South Carolina it was easy to find a sense of hilarious relatability to his “You might be a redneck if…” jokes.
With that being said, the man put together his first solo stand up special in more than 20 years with his new Netflix special, The Good Old Days.
Netflix’s standup account Netflix Is A Joke shared a preview of Jeff’s “participation trophy” bit, and Twitter couldn’t help but bitch about it.
