Every Cody Jinks fan out there knows and loves “Mamma Song.”
From his 2015 Adobe Sessions album, the song has been an ever-present fan favorite at shows, and among those who might be living life a little rough around the edges.
It’s an upbeat, sweet song that’s essentially a letter Jinks is writing to his mamma, telling her how he’s finally starting to grow up and move on from his wilder days, along with the fact that he’s starting to see success as a musician.
With that being said, we’re gonna spin it back to Jinks’ iconic performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre from 2021,
Of course, it’s always going to be a special performance playing at the world-renown Red Rocks Amphitheatre, but this specific concert had its own little twist…
As Jinks was gearing up to play “Mamma Song,” he brought the woman who inspired the song in the first place, on stage to sing it with him.
That’s right, the mamma Jinks herself was on stage singing the song with him, side by side.
Talk about a special moment.
