Hardy Drops Surprise New Song, “Sold Out,” On Big Loud’s Rock Label

Hardy is going full RAWK with this one.

Of course, plenty of his songs have a heavy rock and grunge influence, and he even covered Puddle of Mudd’s “Blurry” last year, but this one feels (and sounds) really different from everything else in his catalog so far.

Titled “Sold Out,” it will make absolutely make you wanna run through a damn brick wall.

He teased it on TikTok back in the fall last year, but today, he went all the way with the release. If you look closely at the details on YouTube, you’ll see that it was actually released under Big Loud’s rock label that they launched last year, just like his cover of “Blurry”.

Hardy is currently signed to Big Loud, and is a friend and frequent co-writer of Morgan Wallen, but some fans are now wondering if he might have a real deal rock album coming soon:

The lyrics here are solid too, as per the usual with Hardy, who recently took home a well-deserved ACM for Songwriter of the Year.

He dropped his collaborative record Hixtape, Vol. 2 last year, in addition to Hixtape, Vol. 1 in 2019 and his official debut album, A Rock, in 2020, and honestly, I’d love to see him go all-in on a real deal rock album one day.

He’s always been open about how that genre has influenced his music, as well, and I think he’d be up for the task.
