Just another day of Billy Strings being able to pick the living hell out of an acoustic guitar.
The six-string machine and his band made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and played his bluegrass boot stomper “Know It All,” straight from his critically acclaimed 2021 album Renewal.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, watching videos of Strings play live will give you a completely different perspective on just how talented he truly is, as his pickin’ abilities will make you feel like he’s playing about three different instruments at once.
The guy is a generational talent for the bluegrass genre.
In the midst of Strings’ big 2022, Renewal has been nominated for Best Bluegrass Album, and Best American Roots Performance for “Love and Regret” at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
I mean, I could sit here and watch this all day long:
