Carrie Underwood Teases New Music Coming This Friday

Carrie Underwood has some new music coming SOON.

And by soon, I mean this Friday. She posted a cryptic photo on Instagram earlier today with text that reads:

“Coming Friday. March 18.”

Along with a simple “eyeball” caption:

Does this mean CU7 is coming soon?

There plenty of fan guesses in the comments section, and a few people threw out the idea of a My Savior deluxe edition, but just based on what I can gather from the short clip she posted, it doesn’t really seem like that’s the direction she’s going with this announcement.

Her last true studio album, Cry Pretty, was released way back in 2018, in addition to a Christmas album, My Gift, in 2020, and her aforementioned 2021 Gospel album (one of my favorite’s of the year), My Savior.

Just last week, Carrie posted another photo of herself recording in the studio with a caption that said:

 “So, I did a thing…”

And if I had to guess, a brand new single, and potentially an album announcement, is likely coming this Friday:

Carrie took home an ACM for Single Of The Year for her most recent single, “If I Didn’t Love You” (a duet with Jason Aldean) just last week, in addition to performing with him at the show:
