Parker McCollum Scores Second Career #1 On Country Radio With “To Be Loved By You”

Parker McCollum country music

It’s been an absolutely insane week for Parker McCollum.

He won his first ACM for New Male Artist of the Year, covered a song by his musical hero George Strait, fulfilled a lifelong dream over the weekend by performing at RodeoHouston (and selling it out), and today, he has his second career #1 at mainstream country radio:

And to top that all off, he’s getting married next week… not been a had March for the Limestone Kid.

Parker has been on an insane trajectory in terms of his career over the past several years, and he’s worked as hard as anybody in the business to get where he is now. It’s exciting to see an artist like him bridging the gap between Texas and Nashville, and I’m sure there are plenty more #1s to come in his future.

“To Be Loved By You” was written by Parker and Rhett Akins and produced by Jon Randall. It was the second single from his 2021 major label debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy.

Congratulations to Parker on another great song getting some love from country radio.
