Carrie Underwood Teases New Music Coming Soon: “So, I Did A Thing…”

Carrie Underwood country music

Looks like Carrie Underwood is back in the studio.

It’s been a minute since we’ve had new music from Carrie Underwood, as her last studio album, Cry Pretty, was released way back in 2018.

Yeah, she released a Christmas album, My Gift, in 2020, and a Gospel album, My Savior, last year, but as far as a true country music Carrie Underwood record goes, it’s been a while.

However, that’s all about to change.

Carrie shared a photo from the recording studio and it looks like an announcement for a new album will be here sooner rather than later.

 “So, I did a thing…”

Her most recent single, “If I Didn’t Love You,” a duet with Jason Aldean took home the ACM Awards for Single Of The Year earlier this week.

And her and Jason performed the song together at the ceremony, live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

And while I’m not entirely sure that Jason Aldean can play the piano, it was probably one of the better performances of the night.
