Morgan Wallen’s ‘Dangerous’ Breaks Record Held By Taylor Swift For Most Weeks In Billboard Top 10

Morgan Wallen country music

Morgan Wallen just keeps breaking records.

After being released in early 2021, Dangerous: The Double Album became the best-selling album of 2021 (in any genre), the only country album to ever spend its first 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and broke pretty much every streaming record in the book.

Oh, and he’s also sold out all 54 shows on his current Dangerous Tour after selling over 800,000 tickets, and he currently has the second-highest grossing country tour in the world – behind only Eric Church.

Well add another record to books for Morgan Wallen and Dangerous.

The album has now spent 60 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart, breaking the record held by Taylor Swift’s Fearless for the most weeks in the top 10 for a country album.

Dangerous currently sits at #3 on the charts so it looks like Morgan’s going to keep this record-breaking run going for quite awhile. It’s also nominated for Album of the Year at tomorrow’s ACM Awards, and was nominated for the same award at last year’s CMA Awards, although it eventually lost to Chris Stapleton’s Starting Over.
