Kaitlin Butts Delivers Killer Acoustic Rendition Of Miley Cyrus’ “Angels Like You”

Good LAWD…

I’ve been counting down the days until this new Kaitlin Butts album, What Else Can She Do, which is set to drop on April 15th.

It’s been seven years since her debut album, Same Hell, Different Devil, and her lead single “Blood” proves that she’s had something special in the works for quite some time now.

As we anticipate this new project, she’s blessed us with a country-fied acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus’s deep-cutting song “Angels Like You.” Written by Miley Cyrus herself, along with Ryan Tedder, Alexandra Tamposi, Andrew Watt, and Louis Bell, it was released as the third single from her 2020 album, Plastic Hearts.

If there’s one thing you need to know about Kaitlin Butts, it’s that she doesn’t leave an ounce of emotion or passion inside of her when she sings, and it’s quite evident in this cover.

I mean, DAMN…

Not to mention, her husband Cleto Cordero, frontman for Flatland Cavalry, is on acoustic guitar for the song.
