COME ON WITH IT.

About a month ago, the great Tyler Childers debuted an untitled new song inspired by the moment an angel appeared to the shepherds in the Nativity stories of the Bible. Perhaps titled “Luke,” Tyler referred to it as “his first Christmas song.”

He performed a number of new tunes at soundcheck as well, however “Luke” was the only one that seemed to make it on video.

However, even more recently, Tyler joined Robert Earl Keen down in Kerrville, Texas, for REK’s annual benefit concert to support the Hill Country Youth Orchestras.

And once again, Tyler treated fans to a whole mess of unreleased material.

Her performed “Phone Calls & Emails,” as well as ” Rusting In The Rain,” and one called either “Mammoth Jacks” or “Percheron Mules,” all of which it appears as though he performed in some capacity with the Avett Brothers down in Mexico earlier this year.

Overall, Tyler has been pretty quiet lately, doing his best to stay out of the spotlight for most of this year. He does have a few performances on the books, a couple bluegrass festivals, but fans are still waiting on a 2022 tour announcement.

But tour or no tour, when Tyler is playing new tunes, that means that a new album could be on the way here soon.

Either way… get excited.
