Is Eric Church About To Announce His Next Stadium Show With Morgan Wallen?

It appears as though that just might be the case.

Eric previously announced one stadium show at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Memorial Day Weekend, with Brothers Osborne and Parker McCollum as openers.

But as he announced to the Church Choir, that was only the beginning of much more to come.

While Eric is currently on the road for his 55-city Gather Again Tour that’s set to end in May, his team has been on Twitter asking fans where else they want to see him play more than once:

Was that Minnesota’s US Bank Stadium I saw there?

And Eric’s getting cryptic again today, sharing a post with a photo of him and Morgan Wallen from a show at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when Morgan showed up after much of Eric’s band tested positive for COVID and he played a (mostly) solo show, saying:

“Hey Morgan Wallen, this was a good time. We should do it again soon.”

Morgan is also currently on his own Dangerous tour, but he often talks about how Eric is his musical hero, and they’ve formed a pretty strong friendship over the last couple years or so as Eric has taken him under his wing.

I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that Morgan would miss opening for his favorite country music singer. Plus, between the insane ticket sales these two both bring to the table, I think they’d sell out just about any stadium in the country.

Eric was also a co-writer on one of my favorite songs on Morgan’s record breaking album Dangerous, “Quittin’ Time”, which they also sang together at that Philly show.

I have a feeling there’s a whole lot more of this in the near future… stay tuned:
