Riley Green And Sammy Kershaw Singing “Yard Sale” Together Is Good For The Soul

Riley Green and Sammy Kershaw… the duo I never knew I needed.

After seeing Riley do an acoustic cover of Sammy’s 90’s heartbreaker “Yard Sale” last week, I was hoping they’d do something together at Riley’s show in Southaven, Mississippi this past Friday, where Sammy was opening for him… and it looks like my wish has come true.

Riley posted another video to Instagram today of the pair singing “Yard Sale” live at the concert, and this right here is good for the soul.

He used a fitting caption for the video too, with a reference to the Randy Travis and George Jones’ classic “A Few Ole Country Boys”:

“It’s good to know there’s still a few good ole country boys around.”

I love seeing Riley bring all of these older country stars on stage with him and introducing younger audiences to them at his shows.

He’s also paired up with Jamey Johnson in the past, and is known to sing plenty of classics at pretty much every show, even though he admits that his young audience often doesn’t even know them (which is a whole other sad story…).

On the bright side, I might still get that live duet of “Queen of My Double Wide Trailer” I’m still holding out for, as Riley also just announced that Sammy will be opening another show for him in July at his 4th of July celebration show in Nashville, along with rising superstar Morgan Wade.
