Whiskey Myers Announce Red Rocks Amphitheatre Debut

Whiskey Myers Red Rocks Country Music

Just when I thought 2022 couldn’t get bigger for Whiskey Myers…

Last week, we were teased multiple times by the southern rock band that they were hunkered down in Tornillo, Texas, recording at the iconic Sonic Ranch.

That’s when they announced that they were dropping a brand new single last Friday titled “John Wayne,” and they have a new record Tornillo set to drop on July 29th.

And to add to their timeline, they announced their kickass “Tornillo Tour,” slated for April 23rd, where they’ll be joined by the likes of Shane Smith & The Saints, Read Southall Band, and more.

And to add the icing on the cake, they’re headed to one of the greatest music venues to exist on this planet, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

They’ll headline the show on June 6th, and frontman Cody Cannon can’t contain his excitement for the gig:

“For as long as we’ve been performing, Red Rocks has been one of those iconic, bucket list venues that you dream of playing someday.

As much fun as we’ve had in the studio creating this new record, those moments on the road feeling the energy of our fans are the moments we live for; so this is going to be an incredible night.”

You can imagine that playing Red Rocks is a dream come true for just about every artist imaginable, with its gorgeous setting in the rocky mountains.

Not to mention, the countless number of stars who have performed there before them.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, February 23rd, at 10 AM… they’ll be bringing along Shane Smith and the Saints, as well as Read Southall Band to open.
