Parker McCollum is getting Texas baseball hype for their Opening Day tomorrow at UFCU Disch–Falk Field in Austin.
The Longhorns put out an epic hype video, featuring Parker and his song “Meet You in the Middle,” that will get you more than ready for baseball season to finally get underway.
Even though the MLB is currently dealing with an ongoing lockout, the college baseball season is here, and I couldn’t think of a better way to start what promises to be another great season for the Longhorns than this epic video.
They’ll be at home tomorrow facing the Rice Owls in a series from February 18th to the 20th. Last season, the Longhorns made it to the College World Series semifinals, where they fell to the eventual national champions in the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
“Meet You in the Middle” is from Parker’s 2015 debut album The Limestone Kid, and I’ve never really thought about it as a baseball, or any other sport, song, but I ain’t mad at it.
