The highlight of Monday Night Football, had to have been the “ManningCast.”

It was hilarious watching Peyton and Eli Manning roast the hell out of each other, and the plays on the field, along with bringing a star studded list of guests to keep things exciting.

Except for the awful “Manning Curse,” but that’s a conversation for another time.

With that being said, it appears that the “ManningCast” is officially here to stay for Monday Night Football, according to Deadline.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek said during the company’s first-quarter earnings call today, that ESPN has officially extended its contract with Peyton Manning and his Omaha Productions.

And… they’ll be taking the ManningCast model to different sports.

Omaha Productions will produce alternate broadcast shows similar to the ManningCast (with different hosts) for UFC, college football, and golf.

ESPN says Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli averaged 1.6 million viewers, meanwhile, the regular Monday Night Football broadcast averaged 13.5 million this year.

Not gonna lie… I watched the ManningCast over the regular broadcast every single week.

The boys are BACK.
