Cody Johnson Performs Stripped Down, Full Band Version Of “Dear Rodeo”

If you’ve never heard Cody Johnson perform his smash hit “Dear Rodeo” live, you’re seriously missing out.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to hear him play the song at one of his concerts last year, and needless to say, it’ll give you chills hearing him perform it live and in person.

You can almost feel the emotion from Johnson’s gritty voice, as he sings about putting his full throttle past rodeo life behind him, and moving on to bigger and better things, like his country music career.

Not to mention the epic guitar solo played at the end, where the whole band jams out together as they close out the show.

With that being said, the man dropped a stripped down, full band acoustic version of the song, nd shocker… it’s phenomenal.

I’m just praying to the good Lord already that he’ll somehow make a trip to South Carolina again sometime soon.

Still one of the best concerts I’ve experienced to date.
