Dolly Parton is once again putting her money where her mouth is.

As the official Dreamer-In-Chief at Dollywood, she’s always coming up with new, creative, and impactful ways to do amazing things for her local community and the people who work for her.

As a longtime supporter of reading and education, her theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, just announced that they will start paying a hundred percent of college tuition for employees, including the cost of fees and textbooks.

According to Fox 17, the education benefit package will be available to all employees starting on their first day of work.

The President of Dollywood Company, Eugene Naughton, says they want their employees to continue to grow both professionally and personally during their time at Dollywood, and education is a key factor in that process:

“One of The Dollywood Foundation’s key tenets is to ‘learn more.’ This program is created with that very tenet in mind.

We want our hosts to develop themselves through advanced learning to fulfill the foundation’s other tenets: care more, dream more, and be more.”

I mean, how awesome is that?

Just one more way Dolly is single-handedly making the world a much better place. The woman is a damn national treasure, and it’s hard to think of any other artist in any genre of music that does more to help people than she does.

Dolly has also done incredible work with young children through her Imagination Library foundation, which has donated over 2 million books since its inception in 1995.

This new college program at Dollywood will officially start on February 24th for all seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees at Dollywood Parks & Resort.
