NASCAR Fans React To Ice Cube Performing The Busch Light Clash Halftime Show

Ice Cube

I gotta say, the Busch Light Clash has been pretty damn cool (aside from the number of commercials).

I mean, my picks have been shit… but what else is new?

Racing at incredibly tiny quarter mile race track they built inside the Los Angeles Coliseum, we have the debut of the Next Gen cars, we have a lot of contact, and we have… Pitbull and Ice Cube performing?

Pitbull, as an owner of Trackhouse Racing, the team fielding the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro for Ross Chastain and the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro for Daniel Suarez, kicked things off with the pre-race show, and then Los Angeles native Ice Cube was brought in for the halftime show.

A halftime show in NASCAR? Yeah, a halftime show…

While I’ll admit a halftime show in the middle of a NASCAR race is something that I don’t want to continue (why interrupt the race like that?), my 33-year old ass watching Ice Cube out there was pretty cool.

But overall, the reactions were pretty good:

Corey LaJoie was loving it:
