California Teacher Harasses 13-Year-Old Student Over Pro-Police Mask: “That’s The Confederate Flag”

Remember going through school, and hearing your teacher say they would be out a certain day and you’ll be getting a substitute?

It was always interesting walking into class those days, because you never know what kind of person was gonna be sitting behind that desk teaching you that day.

Some of them were try-hards, some of them didn’t give a fiddler’s fuck, and some of them were simply weird…

And some of ’em were just Grade-A, power tripping assholes.

Just like this substitute teacher in California, who harassed one of his students for wearing a mask honoring police officers.

According to FOX News, the substitute berated a 13-year-old student over the mask, claiming it was the new “Confederate flag.”

The student was Lucas Lillar, who was sitting in his math class at Lyman Gilmore Middle School in Grass Valley.

In the video, you hear the teacher say:

“That’s not the American flag, that’s the Confederacy flag… well, we can’t do the Confederate, but we can put up the red, white, and blue.

No, it’s black, white, with some blue line in it.”

You can hear Lillar reply:

“Yeah, it’s got the thin blue line.”

The teacher then says:

“Yeah, but it’s not American.”

Lillar told FOX & Friends:

“I was confused because I didn’t know what he was talking about at first. And then he kept saying that is un-American and how if police don’t like you, they’ll shoot you.”

The student’s mother, Amanda McCallum, said the principal assured her that the sub will not be teaching in that district again.

She said:

“The next step that we’re working on is putting statements together so that he can not teach again in the state.”

Damn… in the whole state?

Nevada County Superintendent of Schools Scott W. Lay said:

“We expect all educators to perform their duties with utmost respect and professionalism to afford our youth an environment conductive to learning.

The California Teacher Credentialing that governs educator credentials will be informed of this incident.”
