When you think about Dolly Parton, there’s always one certain recognizable feature that “pops” out at you…

And that’s her iconic voice, of course.

Get your mind out of the gutter…

That being said, there have been a lot of rumors circulating about another feature of hers, as it’s believed that Dolly had her breasts insured back in the day for $600,000.

It’s not uncommon at all for celebrities to insure body parts, in fact, celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen and more have all done it.

However, the 76-year-old is here to set the record straight…

And she says the rumors are FALSE.

According to FOX News, she went on the “Today with Hoda & Jenna” show on Wednesday, and she said the rumors were all in jest, as she recalled a conversation she had years back:

“Years ago, was it (actress) Betty Grable, or one of the great famous stars that was famous also for her legs? At that time, I said ‘Well maybe I should get my boobs insured since I’m famous for them.

It was just a joke… I didn’t do that.”

And if you wonder why, Dolly says it’s pretty simple…

“By the way, you can get new boobs but you can’t get new legs!”

That’s a very valid point there, Dolly.

Man, we gotta protect this woman with all costs, she’s a national treasure.
