Three weeks ago, we witnessed one of the wildest in-game moments the NFL has ever seen when Antonio Brown ripped his jersey and shirt off, and quit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the middle of the third quarter of their game against the New York Jets.
Since then, we’ve seen AB promote his rap career and tease a new Netflix show involving him, and we’ve seen Tom Brady, along with several other current and former NFL stars speak out about the strange exit.
Not to mention, we’ve also seen Brown blame the Bucs for not taking care of an injury he had previously sustained and forcing him to play…
Even though there hasn’t been any official proof of that.
With that being said, the Buccaneers lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Los Angeles Rams yesterday by way of a game winning field goal from Rams’ kicker Matt Gay.
Brady and the Bucs almost completed yet another epic comeback after trailing 27-3 at one point, but ultimately lost the game, 30-27.
Naturally, Brown decided to take a shot at his former team, posting a meme to his Twitter account of the epic picture of him hyping up the Jets crowd as he ran off the field shirtless, except this time he edited in a sign in his hands that read:
“Bucs eliminated.”
You gotta think that loss was the biggest relief ever for Brown, as if he needs anymore ammunition, but he might’ve been the happiest fan in sports yesterday.
Imagine if Brady and the Bucs ended up with a Super Bowl ring at the end of the season… he’d look a whole lot dumber than he already does.
