Don’t call or text, childhood me is in shambles right now…
It’s just been a brutal past few weeks in the world of TV icons and American pop culture.
After losing football coaching legend John Madden and Betty White, we’ve lost another American icon… the legendary comedian and actor, Bob Saget.
Saget, most remembered as Danny Tanner on Full House, passed away today at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida, according to TMZ.
Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget pic.twitter.com/aB1UKiOlmi

Law Enforcement and the fire department responded to the scene at 4 PM after hotel security found Saget unresponsive in his room.
At only 65 years old, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The man was in the middle of touring the country, starting back in September and supposed to end in May. He just did a show in Jacksonville at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall last night.
He posted to Twitter last night:
“Loved tonight’s show PV Concert Hall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience.
Thanks again to Tim Wilkins for opening. I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this shit.”

Saget was also known for his role hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos from 1989 to 1997, as well as playing the voice of Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother.
He also starred in Raising Dad, made a few appearances in Entourage, the Full House reboot, Fuller House, and more.
His 2014 comedy album That’s What I’m Talkin’ About was nominated for a Grammy for Best Comedy Album.
RIP Bob.
Cue up that Full House intro…
If you’ve ever seen Bob’s comedy, it was far more x-rated than the loveable dad he played on TV.
He was HILARIOUS.
He also hosted Nashville Squares on CMT.
